Privacy, Terms & Refunds
Last updated 2026-07-24. Plain-language policies for 2ools subscribers, creators, and Marketplace buyers.
Privacy
- Account. We store your email and a one-way hash of your password so you can sign in. That's it — no tracking pixels, no ad networks, no selling data.
- Your projects. The sites you build, project chat, and business details you add or look up are stored so your work persists. A project is visible to its owner and to people the owner explicitly invites. Owners can change or remove collaborator access.
- AI credentials. Credentials you connect are used only to perform the requests you initiate. Browser-managed keys remain in your browser; Engine and account integrations use the credential path described in Settings. Do not place secrets in project chat or published site content.
- Location. The "use my location" option is opt-in, rounded, kept in memory only, and never stored.
- Service providers. We use infrastructure, payment, email, and AI providers only as needed to operate the service or fulfill a request. Stripe processes Stripe purchases and creator payouts; Stripe or Link may act as merchant of record for eligible direct 2ools purchases. Paddle continues to process legacy Paddle subscriptions during migration. Each provider handles related payment, identity, bank, and tax information under its own policies.
- Marketplace records. We retain listing snapshots, source digests, licenses, purchase status, refund/dispute history, seller balances, and limited audit events so ownership and money movement can be reconstructed. We do not store raw card numbers, bank credentials, or seller identity documents.
- Deletion. Email 2ools.build@gmail.com to request deletion of your account and owned projects. We may retain limited billing, security, or backup records when required by law or legitimate operational needs.
Terms
- 2ools is the trading name used for this service. By creating an account or continuing to use 2ools, you agree to these terms.
- 2ools is provided as-is, with no warranty. Availability may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, provider outages, or security work.
- You're responsible for the sites you generate and publish, and for having the right to use any business details, images, and content you enter.
- Don't use 2ools for unlawful activity, fraud, spam, impersonation, intellectual-property infringement, malware, unauthorized probing or scraping, or interference with the service or another user's security.
- 2ools retains ownership of the service, software, documentation, and branding. You retain the rights you already hold in content you provide and remain responsible for that content.
- Your account plan controls capacity and features; project roles separately control who may view or edit each shared project.
- Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.
- Business data comes from third parties (e.g. Google Places) and may be inaccurate — verify anything before you publish it.
Subscriptions & Cancellation
- Subscription prices, billing interval, included capacity, and any trial are shown before checkout. The payment provider may calculate and collect taxes based on the buyer's location and the product classification.
- You may cancel through the billing portal when available or by emailing 2ools.build@gmail.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access normally remains available through the current billing period.
- A failed recurring payment may retain paid access for a seven-day grace period while the payment issue is corrected. Access returns to the applicable free tier when that grace period expires.
- Canceling a subscription does not cancel a project invitation or delete exported sites. Export anything you need before requesting account deletion.
Refund Policy
- Subscription purchases and renewals are generally non-refundable. We do not voluntarily provide refunds or credits for unused subscription time, partial billing periods, monthly or annual renewals, downgrades, failure to cancel before renewal, or simply changing your mind.
- Canceling stops the next renewal and does not retroactively refund the current paid period. Access normally remains available through that period unless the account is terminated for abuse, fraud, or a security risk.
- This posture does not override mandatory consumer rights or the applicable merchant-of-record policy. Qualifying product defects, duplicate or incorrect charges, and requests the payment provider permits remain eligible for review.
- For a Stripe Managed Payments purchase, use the support and order-management options supplied through Link or email us. For a legacy Paddle purchase, use Paddle.net.
Creator Marketplace
- What is sold. A listing sells or grants access to the exact frozen source release identified by its release number and cryptographic digest. Later creator edits do not change an earlier buyer's release.
- Buyer license. Unless a listing states a different reviewed license, a paid or free acquisition grants the buyer a perpetual, non-exclusive right to use, edit, export, deploy, and incorporate that release into the buyer's own personal or commercial projects. The buyer may not resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the substantially unchanged source as a template, starter, asset pack, or competing Marketplace listing.
- Creator ownership. The creator keeps ownership of rights they hold in the release. Listing grants 2ools the limited permission needed to review, preview, market, deliver, preserve, and support that release.
- Creator promises. A creator must own or have permission for all code, media, trademarks, data, and other material in the release; accurately disclose network access and important dependencies; and must not include secrets, malware, credential theft, hidden tracking, unlawful material, or code intended to compromise a buyer or third party.
- Fees and payouts. The standard 2ools application fee is 15% of the gross listing price. Stripe creates the payment directly on the creator's connected seller account, deducts Stripe processing and Connect costs from that account, and manages its available balance, reserves, and bank payouts. The amount a creator receives is therefore the sale price minus the 2ools fee, Stripe fees, refunds, disputes, reserves, taxes, and other Stripe adjustments.
- Seller payment responsibility. Each creator is the seller for Marketplace transactions processed on their connected Stripe account. Stripe handles seller onboarding and payment-risk operations under the creator's Stripe agreement. The creator remains responsible for accurate identity, bank, tax, business, product, support, and refund information and for obligations tied to their sales.
- Refunds and disputes. Source purchases are generally final after access is granted, except for duplicate/incorrect charges, a materially defective or misrepresented release, fraud, provider-approved relief, or rights required by law. Refunds, chargebacks, disputes, processing fees, or losses attributable to a sale can reduce the creator's Stripe balance. When 2ools initiates an eligible refund, it also returns the proportional 2ools application fee through Stripe.
- Moderation. 2ools may review, reject, unlist, quarantine, or remove a listing for safety, quality, rights, policy, fraud, or legal reasons. Delisting does not normally erase an existing buyer's license or acquired copy, but access may be restricted when continued delivery would be unlawful or unsafe.
Prohibited Marketplace Content
Do not list malware, credential harvesting, undisclosed remote-control code, pirated or infringing material, impersonation kits, spam or scraping tools that violate third-party rights, illegal or age-restricted commerce, real-money gambling products, deceptive financial claims, private personal data, or content primarily intended to harm, exploit, or evade another service's protections.
Reports, Takedowns & Appeals
Send safety, infringement, takedown, or appeal requests to 2ools.build@gmail.com. Include the listing URL or ID, the specific material at issue, your relationship to the rights involved, supporting evidence, and a reliable contact address. We may preserve evidence, temporarily restrict the listing, contact the creator, request additional information, and record the outcome. Knowingly false or abusive reports may result in account action.
Questions about privacy, access, billing, cancellation, Marketplace rights, or a legally required refund? Email 2ools.build@gmail.com. Payment-provider terms and mandatory consumer protections also apply.
